Snow Miku Friday (On a Thursday!) (12.04.2025)
Good morning, evening, or night!
So, Snow Miku. She was a topic of conversation today and it got me thinking a very important question. What do I think of the Snow Miku Nendoroids? It’d also be a semi-ranking of their designs, but sometimes a design doesn’t translate well to a figure in general or a chibi figure, designed that way or nah, so that’ll have to be a different day. I’m also going to skip 2010-2012 because I’ll be completely honest here. I don’t like them very much. I think they’re cute in their own right, but after all the Snow Mikus we’ve had over the years, Miku in her default outfit but with a snowey theme isn’t quite hitting it for me. I’ll probably cover four at a time until I get to the end. Supposedly, GSC has been revealing the third faceplate and another accessory for a Snow Miku for a bit, so I also want to wait for 2026’s Snow Miku to get a feeeeew more promo images out. I do like what she's got so far. And, to get into the season, I’ve decided to make the sparkle for this white. For snow, ya know?
We’ll start with Snow Miku 2013, otherwise known the Strawberry White Kimono Snow Miku! Here’s here promo images for the curious, along with key artwork.

This is an oldie! She’s got the old Nendoroid head and everything! She’s actually got a reissue out, but nothing could ever convince me to touch GSCUS again after the whole credit card debacle (except maybe through their ebay page), and her price is not helping. It’s a shame they handled the credit card shitshow so badly; I’d love to own this one both personally and to see if they updated her internal workings. As for the design, I think she’s a real cutie. I love the snow bunny theming. She looks like one of those little snow rabbits you see sometimes. The Yukiusagi, ya know? She also kinda looks like a traditional bride? I’m not sure if it was intentional or if it’s only because I’ve seen hoods like this in wedding kimono. I like this one a lot! She’s cute, and I like the hair-up style. It’s quite unique for a Miku, let alone a Snow One. It’s also one of the three that goes with her original hair color. It also seems to be a nice interpretation into 3D. I wish I could have her. I think it’s a simple design that achieves a lot with so little, the accessories are plentiful, and overall she’s just really good. I love figures with umbrellas, and her having a little bunny and a plate is 10/10.
Next up is Snow Miku 2014, otherwise known as the Magical Snow Snow Miku! Here’s her promo images and some key art.
She’s so cute… I think a snow wizard is such a cute design and theme for Snow Miku. The faceplate and pose where she’s sitting reading her book… The book stand… Her magic wand… The perfect intersection of “Miku,” “Wizard,” and “Snow” that exists. I love the purple integrated into the design and the splash of yellow in it. It’s perfect. I wish I could find her. Something vivid that lives in my head is someone showing me wheb they got her in her og box, no protection though, so maybe I would have to leave a little note or something if I bought her?
Snow Miku 2015, otherwise known as Snow Bell Snow Miku! Here’s the relevant images.
This is a grail of Snow Mikus for me, all things considered. I love the little bell flower dress design and pigtail covers, and use of colors pops beautifully; those red cheers pop, as does the little dew drops on the hem and the smattering of green. Her holding a leaf is already great, but the snow bell SEAT is what elevates this nendoroid from good to great for me. Like her music note accessory and other accessories are great, but this is the charm point. What if Miku was an Animal Crossing character? This Nendoroid is the answer, and I love it. I would crack so hard for a reissue it’s crazy.
Snow Miku 2016, otherwise known as Snow Owl Miku! Here’s her images.
Her hat is FELT. That is so cute it makes me sick with joy. Unfortunately I know from experience that fabric with Good Smile Company products sometimes sucks. I’ve had a miserable experience with Arc’s fabric skirt. But. I’d risk it for her. Her snow athlete theming is adorable. I love the uniform design, and coming with snowboard and skies AND goggles is top tier accessories for a Snow Miku. The riser to make the stand a slope is also just incredible. We really don’t get them like this nowadays, do we? That said. I’d mostly display her in the pose where she’s crashing. I also quite like her jointed arms. Another grail Nendoroid of mine.
That’s all the Snow Miku I got in me for now. Adding the image is a bit of a pain, and! I actually own two Snow Mikus, so I want to have my own images in the next blog post. Happy December!
